Travelling through Asia to capture experiences

As a leading manufacturer of data capture technology such as enterprise mobile computers, barcode scanners, label printers and rugged tablets, Zebra is a global company that sells through resellers across the global.

Their reseller partners work closely with industry to implement effective mobile computing barcode and label printer solutions that are seen in everything from retail, warehouses and transport and logistics.

You could say that the Zebra reseller partners are at the coal face working with clients and therefore have captured a wealth of experience through the challenge of solving solutions with Zebra technology.

Sill Marketing created an initiative to capture the experience of the reseller partners in the form of video interviews.

OUTCOME

We worked closely with Zebra Technologies team in Australia and Singapore office to identify suitable reseller partners to be part of the interview series.

Due to the knowledge of the Zebra solutions and the application of them, we developed the interview questions as well as work with the team to develop briefing documents for the partners so they were fully aware of what was required of them.

Interviews were held cross Australia, Singapore, Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia with a total of in excess of 40 videos shot.

Each video ran for around 3 to 5 minutes with a maximum of 4 questions asked. Each video was broken down further with 3 social media clips produced from each video.

The majority of the videos were shot as a one man operation which made the series more affordable for the client due to reduced travel costs.

Over 50 weeks of social media content was developed through one initiative which has helped Zebra stay in front of the market while also delivering more in depth content that helps to educate and motivate the market to adopt Zebra solutions.
